March 4, 2014 ISSS Seminar completed

At the Red Hall of the YTU Yildiz Campus, as part of the International Students Strategic Studies Seminar attended by students from University of Copenhagen, Network of Strategic Studies, Yata-Turk and udnergraduate and graduate programs of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Prof. Dr. Nurşin A. Güney, Prof. Dr. Ömer Çaha, Assoc. Dr. Vişne Korkmaz and Dr. Ali Yalçın Göymen gave lectures analysing the strategic position of Turkey. Through an analysis of the interaction and crossing over the domestic-foreign boundaries of politics, the presentations focused on contested topics, including soft power, regional power, public sphere and freedoms, civil society and power. The attendants were awarded certificates of attendance.
