February 19 Lecture: Halit HOCA's lecture on the war in Syria

At the February 19 inaugural session of the graduate course "Contemporary Debates on Security", organized under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Nurşin Ateşoğlu GÜNEY, and as part of the graduate program of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Dr. Halit HOCA gave a lecture with the title "An Account of the War in Syria from the Perspective of the Opposition". Noting that the crisis in Syria is shaped under the influence of various factors, rather than being sectarian, Halit HOCA described the actual developments as well as his expectations in the aftermath of Geneva II talks, and mentioned some significant points regarding possible developments too be expected among the Syrian Opposition.
