The Washington, DC-centred Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies and the Department of Political Science and International Relations of YTU organized a roundtable seminar based on Chathamhouse rules, entitled Energising Peace: Capitalizing On the Security, Enhancement Opportunities of Eastern Mediterranean Energy Resource Development, at the Doubletree Hilton- Old Town, March 13-16 2014. In their opening speeches, Prof. Dr. Gawdat Bahgat, Prof. Dr. Roger Kansas and Prof. Dr. Nurşin Ateşoğlu Güney noted that the cooperation among their institutions will continue. Participants have become Alumni of the program.
