📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE—

✓ For overlapping courses, the following principles apply depending on whether the courses have been taken previously:

a) If two lab courses conflict, they cannot be taken simultaneously, regardless of whether they have been taken before.

b) If one course is a practical course and the other is a theoretical course, these courses may be taken together provided that the theoretical course has been taken previously and a passing grade (other than F0) was earned.

c) If two theoretical courses conflict, these courses may be taken provided that at least one of them has a passing grade other than F0.

d) Students who meet the conditions for taking overlapping courses as outlined in clauses b and c may take one of the courses through the student information system and the other by decision of the faculty administrative board, limited to once per semester.

(Students in this situation must submit a written request to the relevant department chair to take the overlapping course; their requests will be entered into the OBS system by the faculty dean’s office following approval by the department chair and a decision by the faculty administrative board.

The deadline for submitting a written request to our department to take overlapping courses is September 23, 2026.)
